Commercial overview

Trailers for South America

Competitive trailer supply for vehicle logistics, heavy equipment transport, ports and fleet operators across South America.

South America operating clusters

South America demand is usually split between vehicle logistics, lowbeds for equipment, container chassis for ports and flatbeds for general cargo. These groups should not be quoted as one undifferentiated trailer request.

Country-specific route planning

The buyer should confirm country, import point, inland destination, tractor interface and the cargo mix. Chile mining, Brazil automotive distribution and Peru equipment transport require different technical files.

Dealer, fleet and OEM supply

Projects can use complete units, OEM/private-label production, CKD, SKD or component supply. The model mix and repeat-order plan should be documented before commercial terms are treated as stable.

Confirmed manufacturing framework

Production is based in Jinan, China. Projects can be configured from 12 to 24 metres in length with custom height to the approved specification. MOQ starts from 3 units, and typical production time is approximately 3 weeks after technical and commercial approval.

Components, supply format and control

Axles, suspension, brakes and other components can use Ultima/OEM Chinese solutions or established brands. Every model can be evaluated as a complete trailer, private-label OEM, CKD, SKD or component supply. Agreed inspection points, production photos and final pre-shipment inspection are documented.

Warranty, certificates and logistics

Factory-completed units carry a 12-month warranty on main assemblies. Locally assembled projects do not carry a blanket factory warranty on the finished unit; component and assembly responsibilities are defined in the contract. Certificate documents are available for review and confirmed per destination. Freight and vessel arrangements can be coordinated with logistics partners.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can one quote cover multiple South American countries?

It can outline the project, but each destination still needs its own technical and approval assumptions before the quotation is final.

Which products are usually shortlisted first?

Car carriers, lowbeds, container chassis and flatbeds are the most common starting points, depending on the route and cargo.

Can dealer projects use OEM or CKD supply?

Potentially yes, subject to the model scope, local capability and a written allocation of responsibilities.
